Meet The Team

I love serving our clients and their families as well as giving back to our community in important ways. My favorite thing is working with our amazing team! They are a wealth of information - each one has expertise in their own field of interest, has a variety of skills that are necessary for our work, and they work together cohesively. The most important thing is that they fulfill the company mission with heart - serving our clients during a difficult time.
Most interesting thing I have found (recently) is a huge, round, red velvet bed!

It's like Christmas each time. Over the years, I have come across such wonderful things; furniture, Knick knacks, dishes, collectibles, antiques, and so much more. But, I have also come across mouse poop, stuffed bats, dirty dishes, pornography, washing machines full of petrified laundry, pet stains, person stains, filthy toilets, etc. It's still like opening presents though. Sometimes you don't like the gift and sometimes you love it! It's so interesting to see how people lived, what they collected, who they loved, and how they died. It's heartbreaking to know so many died alone, or their children only want "the good stuff," but don't want to make sure their parents are taken care of. What I do provides a service like no other. The family appreciates that someone is handling the household items most of the time. It's a lot of work - hard and dirty work, but it's so special.

My most interesting find was a 15-foot-tall unicycle from the circus.

My favorite thing about working for SLES is the teamwork we demonstrate at a job site once we determine the objectives we need to accomplish for the client.

The most interesting thing that I have found was a shopping bag in the client's garage that had multiple firearms in it.

Best thing about working for SLES is being able to make a positive and helpful impact on the community.

I can’t think of “one thing” I’ve found so much as the assortment of things discovered that remind me of my childhood. I like finding dishes and collectibles that my grandparents and parents used in their homes. Plus, there have been lots of cool toys from the 70’s and 80’s. For me, it's not so much a thing, but the feeling of nostalgia.

The most interesting thing I’ve found on a job site with SLES was the red ammunition cover to the GAU-8 Avenger gun from an A-10 combat aircraft!

My favorite thing about working for SLES is what we do for our community. The services we provide are so needed and no one ever thinks about them until they're in the middle of it. I am so happy to be able to help people through their challenging times and do it all with a group of people I can honestly say I love working with.

The most interesting thing I have found in a house is $20,000 in the first 30 minutes on the job.
